Personal Privacy

WellSquad collects personal information from you, such as name, email address, fitness level, fitness goals, relationship status, pictures, et all when you sign up for our service or contact us by email. Additionally, all personal information you voluntarily provide us will be securely stored on our server and subject to the Data Privacy provision of this policy. We also track many of the actions you take on our site in order to improve our service.

We may also use any metadata collected from you for internal recordkeeping and to improve our products and services. In addition, we may use data- with identifying characteristics removed- for industry research.

We will never share this information with anyone unless required by law.

How does WellSquad Collect and Use Information?

Our primary goals in collecting information are to provide and improve our Services, to administer your use of the Services (including your Account or Squad Leader Account, as websitelicable), and to enable you to enjoy and easily navigate our Services.

Personal Information. When you create an Account or Squad Leader Account we’ll collect certain information that may include information that can be used to identify you, such as your name, email address and phone number (“Personally Identifiable Information” or “PII”). We may also collect certain information that is not PII because it cannot be used by itself to identify you, such as your gender, age, and zip code. We or our third party services providers may also collect certain information from you in connection with your use of the Services, including payment information.

Data Privacy

We understand that the data you send to WellSquad is confidential and treat it as such. We will never share the data you send us with anyone unless required by law. Access will be restricted only to certain WellSquad staff and people you provide your email and password to, as well as matches you indicate to us via email or directly through the service as a potential match. In order to guarantee the privacy of your data we request that you do not share your username and password with anyone. WellSquad staff will only have access to your data in situations where it is necessary to further development or provide support. They will never replicate, download, copy/paste, or reference this data outside of the reasons stated above.

We do reserve the right to publish aggregated studies, scrubbed of any identifying information, in order to advance health and fitness industry.

Payment and Billing Information

When Registered Users of WellSquad wish to purchase a service on the site, they will be required to provide certain information in addition to the PII noted above. Such information may include a debit card number, credit card number, expiration date, bank account information, billing address, activation codes, and similar information. Such Billing Information is collected and processed by WellSquad or our third-party payment vendor pursuant to the terms and conditions of its privacy policy, and in the instance of this third-party we do not obtain access to any Billing Information in connection with these transactions.

The Security of Your Information

We take reasonable measures to protect the information that we collect from or about you (including your PII) from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Please be aware, however, that no method of transmitting information over the Internet or storing information is completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information.

Our Services may contain links to other websites and services. Any information that you provide on or to a third-party website or service is provided directly to the owner of the website or service and is subject to that party's privacy policy. Our Privacy Policy does not websitely to such websites or services and we’re not responsible for the content, privacy or security practices and policies of those websites or services. To protect your information we recommend that you carefully review the privacy policies of other websites and services that you access.

Cookies

A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from our servers and stored on your computer's hard drive. We use cookies to access information when you sign in, store your preferences, to keep you logged in, and to store a limited amount of behavioral data. Cookies do not pose a threat to your computer, your web browser, or software installed on your system. They do not contain viruses, and the information provided is for WellSquad's sole use and will never be shared with a third party. You can configure your browser to accept or reject these cookies but our service may not function properly without cookies being enabled.

Modifying Your Information

You can access and modify the PII associated with your Account by accessing the “Settings” tab in the Website. If you want us to delete your PII and your Account, please contact us at services@wellsquad.com with your request. We’ll take steps to delete your information as soon as is practicable, but some information may remain in archived/backup copies for our records or as otherwise required by law.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We’ll let you know about any significant changes by putting a notice on your dashboard page 30 days before they become effective.
