Ashley Graham Proudly Shows Off Her Post-Pregnancy Stretch Marks

It's been a month since Ashley Graham gave birth to her son Isaac, and the model is continuing her commitment to body positivity. Being pregnant gave her a whole new appreciation for her body, she shared on Instagram last month, and now the new mom is showing the world the stretch marks etched on her stomach after carrying and giving birth to her baby boy.

On Monday, Graham shared a close-up snap of her stomach on Instagram. The unfiltered photo highlights the fresh stripes on her lower abdomen. “Same me. few new stories,” she captioned the post, which has been met with astounding praise and nearly 1.4 million likes.

Of course, this isn't the first time Graham has bared it all on the 'gram. The swimsuit model shared so many raw moments during her pregnancy, including inspiring nude photos of her changing body, her struggles with pregnancy sex, and the details of her home birth. “I did it naturally and I felt everything,” she explained on her “Pretty Big Deal” podcast. She's also opened up to fans about everything from embracing her bigger body to her uneven boobs to not shaving her armpits while pregnant. “Same same but a little different,” she captioned a photo of her body back in August 2019.

And in the weeks since giving birth to her first child, Graham has continued to keep it real. In a recent post, the new mom was brutally honest about the postpartum healing process. “Raise your hand if you didn’t know you’d be changing your own diapers too,” Graham wrote alongside a mirror selfie. “After all these years in fashion, I never could’ve guessed that disposable underwear would be my favorite piece of clothing but here we are! No one talks about the recovery and healing (yes, even the messy parts) new moms go through. I wanted to show you guys that it’s not all rainbows and butterflies! It’s been tough.”

Despite facing the challenges of being a new mother, Graham says that her life “changed for the better” after bringing her little one into the world. “I have so many reasons to be grateful; all of the love and support from this amazing community, an incredible husband, and a beautiful baby who has opened my eyes to just how amazing this world really is,” she wrote in a super-sweet post.

Graham and her husband Justin Ervin welcomed their first child, Isaac, on Saturday, January 18.
