Apparently, Jennifer Lopez Uses 90 Beauty Products To Get Glam

Ever wonder how Jennifer Lopez looks so effing flawless all the time? Well, you’re in luck. Celebrity gossip Instagram account @DeuxMoi recently posted a screenshot of the mega-star’s rider, and, of course, we took a screenshot of that. (Anytime a celeb shares their beauty secrets, we’re all over it.)

For those of you who aren’t obsessed with all things pop culture, a rider is basically a list of items a celebrity requests (okay, demands) for a professional engagement. Their dressing room, movie trailer or hotel room, depending on the engagement, comes pre-stocked with their desired food, beverages, flowers, supplies, and in J.Lo’s case, beauty products—90 beauty products to be exact.

Let me start by stating the obvious: That is a lot of products. But before we start calling her a diva (is that really even a diss anymore?), it’s important to point out a few things. First, there is a possibility J.Lo’s leaked rider isn’t real, as it has not yet been confirmed by her reps, or that it’s an old version (some of the products are now discontinued). Secondly, and what I choose to believe, it that the document is a team effort by her glam squad, which often includes makeup artist Scott Barnes and hairstylist Chris Appleton.

Looking that good ain’t easy after all. Yeah, yeah. Genetics, I know. Trust me, I’ve seen her in person, and she clearly got some good genes. All I’m saying is that J.Lo’s glowing skin and gorgeous hair is, to some extent, thanks to the pros and some carefully-curated products. So, how lucky are we that so much of her beauty routine was revealed in this rider? And perhaps the best part: She doesn’t only use the super-luxury stuff.

J.Lo’s skincare list, which includes over 25 products from 14 brands, has everything from moisturizers and cleansers to face masks and firming eye creams. It’s no surprise her favorite moisturizer, Crème de la Mer Moisturizing Cream ($345; nordstrom.com), made the list. But so did a few others, including the uber-affordable Aquaphor Healing Cream ($10; amazon.com). Not only is this a great product for dry skin, you can also use it to soften cuticles, highlight cheekbones, prevent lipstick from staining teeth, and tame flyaways.

She also allegedly asks for 28 hair products from brands like Bumble and Bumble, Oribe, and Redken. One noteworthy product on the list is the Olaplex Hair Protector ($28; sephora.com), a cult-fave treatment that instantly restores the hair structure for a healthier, shinier appearance. There are bath, body, and oral care products, too. But unfortunately, aside from some false lashes by Ardell, the rider does not include makeup. Finally, there is a section labeled “AR,” which one can only assume is for her fiance A.Rod.
