Congrats are in order, as Ariana Grande is a married woman! The “Thank You, Next” singer and her boyfriend Dalton Gomez tied the knot over the weekend in an intimate ceremony at her home in California.

“They got married,” Grande’s rep told People magazine in an exclusive interview. “It was tiny and intimate — less than 20 people. The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn’t be happier.

According to TMZ, who first broke the news, there was no traditional ceremony. The wedding took place in her backyard, surrounded by hundreds of white flowers, and the couple said their vows in an “informal way” as family members and close friends looked on.

The bride and groom did, however, exchange wedding rings. According to E! News, Gomez once again used Solow & Co., who created Grande’s unique engagement ring, to design a custom wedding band. “It’s a beautiful, tasteful platinum and diamond pave band,” a spokesperson said.

“It was beautiful but not over the top,” a source told E! News of the event. “[Ariana] wanted it to be simplistic and tasteful. All they cared about was having family there and to be able to enjoy this special moment together.”

According to those close the couple, they always wanted an intimate ceremony. While Grande’s rep confirmed the happy news, no other details from the event have been shared.

Grande and Gomez, a luxury real estate agent, began dating in January 2020. They spent the start of the pandemic quarantining together at her home in Montecito, CA, where they grew very close. And they later confirmed their relationship by appearing together in the music video for her and Justin Bieber’s hit song “Stuck With U.”

In December 2020, Grande announced her engagement on social media. “Forever n then some,” she captioned a carousel of photos, including one of the couple cuddling and one of her custom engagement ring. And although the popstar regularly posts snaps of their romance on social media, they’ve otherwise keep their relationship out of the public eye.

As for Grande’s family, they seem to approve of the whirlwind romance. “Ari’s family is very happy. Everyone loves Dalton. He is great for Ari,” a source told People after their engagement. “This phase of her life has been very quiet and uneventful in a good way. They are very happy that she is marrying Dalton.”

Grande was previously engaged to Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson, but they split about five months later amid news that her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller died. Grande was in a long-term relationship with Miller, who died of an accidental drug overdose shortly after their relationship ended in 2018.
