“Here I go actin’ too rich / Here I go with a new chick / And I know what the truth is / Still playin’ after two kids / It’s a lot to digest when your life always movin,” West raps on the song, per People. When taken at face value, the 44-year-old rapper seems to be implying that he had cheated on his ex-wife after welcoming their first two children, North and Saint.
But, of course, this cannot be confirmed from the lyrics alone, and Kim and West’s reps have yet to comment on the speculation. However, a source told People that the lyrics on West’s 10th studio album are “in a way [his] testimony of everything he did wrong and his apology and taking accountability.”
In recent weeks, Kim has been publicly supporting West at his listening parties for Donda, even taking the stage in a wedding dress during a recent performance in Chicago. The event sparked rumors of a reconciliation, with sources claiming the couple were working on their relationship.
“Kanye wants to get back with Kim and he has been trying to win her over again and reprove himself,” a source close to the pair told Entertainment Tonight. They added that Kim is “open to seeing where things go with Kanye and to see if they can work through their issues as a couple.”
However, earlier this week, a source confirmed to People that Kim is moving forward with the divorce. “They have come a long way since Kim filed for divorce,” the insider said of the situation. “It’s taken them months to get to this point. Kim is happy that they get along and that things are amicable.”
Kim and Kanye West were married in May 2014 after dating for two years and share four children together. In February, Kim filed for divorce from the rapper after a rocky couple of years. The dissolution of their marriage played out publicly on the final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, during which Kim said she had felt “stuck” in their relationship.
