Everyone’s favorite TV mom is pregnant IRL. Mandy Moore is expecting her first child with husband Taylor Goldsmith, she announced on Thursday. But that’s not all — she's already revealed the baby's sex, too.
The This Is Us actress announced the happy news on Instagram, posting a series of photos showing her and Goldsmith proudly cradling her baby bump. “Baby Boy Goldsmith coming early 2021,” she wrote alongside the beautiful black and white images.
Goldsmith also shared the same pictures and caption on his own account.
This will mark the first child for both Moore and Goldsmith, and you can tell they couldn’t be more excited. The mom-to-be is glowing, and they are both beaming with joy in the photos, which were taken by photographer Jenna Jones.
Moore and Goldsmith first started dating in 2015. The couple got engaged in November 2017, and later tied the knot in an intimate backyard ceremony at their Los Angeles home. Both private people, they have kept much of their personal lives out of the public eye, so it’s doubtful Moore will be sharing many personal details of her pregnancy journey.
While it’s unclear exactly how far along Moore is, it seems she will be staying busy until her baby’s arrival next year. On the same day that she announced her pregnancy, the mom-to-be returned to set to film Season 5 of This Is Us with her on-screen family.
And even her castmates can't contain their excitement for the couple. “So happy for the both of you. You and Taylor will be terrific parents…but you told me awhile ago, so…. ” commented Sterling K. Brown on Moore's announcement.
“The Goldsmith Three!” added Chrissy Metz, referencing their hit show.
