The appeal of square toe sandals, Smith says, is in their simplicity and versatility. “I think the square toe sandals trend is super chic and can add some style to an everyday look,” she says. “It’s flattering because it adds a slight edge and class to any outfit, depending on how you style it.”
While square toe sandals can certainly be dressed up with dresses or skirts, Smith prefers them in a more casual setting. “I actually wear square toe sandals on errands!” she says. “If you pair the sandals with a wide-leg jean and a band-tee or a cute crop top, it’s casual and chic.”
And while neutrals are always a great option when it comes to shoes, but Smith suggests using this trend to infuse some color into your wardrobe. She notes that lilac is super trendy for 2021. When it comes to brands, she recommends H&M for a more affordable option and Bottega Veneta if you’re looking for a high-end pair.
