Fashion is back! The 93rd Academy Awards saw a return to Hollywood glamour after a long pandemic shutdown. As the 2021 awards season wraps up with one last IRL red carpet, stars did not disappoint on the night’s formal dress code. From gilded gowns (see Andra Day and Carey Mulligan) and red hot ensembles (worn by Angela Bassett and Amanda Seyfried) to dramatic embellishments, cinema’s biggest night was highlighted by bold colors and glamorous details.
We have to give the guys a shoutout, too, as they showed up for the 2021 Oscars red carpet. Hollywood’s men of the moment delivered some of the most fashion-forward looks we’ve seen in seasons past. From custom, colorful suits (we see you, Coleman Domingo!) to sexy, ‘70s-inspired styles (we’re looking at you, LaKeith Stanfield) and, of course, plenty of classic tuxedos, the guys exceeded our expectations with some of the event’s most talked about looks.
It was certainly a night to remember, and given that the show marks the grand finale of awards season, we couldn’t be more excited for the future of high fashion. Scroll through for some of the best dressed celebrities at the 2021 Oscars.
