One of the things we envy most about Chrissy Teigen—right after her adorable family and mad culinary skills—is her ever glowing complexion. So when she decided to drop her entire skincare routine on Instagram, we got out our pen and paper and started taking notes.
“For you kind folks asking me to drop the skincare regimen, I will admit I am def proud of my skin lately and feeling myself!” she wrote on Instagram alongside a video of herself showing off a colorful eyeliner look. And as she should be! Her skin no doubt looks incredible—smooth, clear, radiant—so what exactly is she using?
The model and TV personality went on to explain that she usually uses whatever is closest, without technically keeping a routine, but based on advice from her esthetician, Shani Darden, she has been sticking to a specific lineup of products lately. First up, the iS Clinical Cleansing Complex ($44) and Moisturizing Complex ($89). These are the “only thing[s] I use consistently, and they’ve always been so good to me,” she said of the products. For sun protection, she currently relies on Control Corrective Oil-Free Sunscreen SPF 30 ($38), a celebrity favorite that uses microfine zinc for invisible protection from UVA and UVB rays.
Tegien continued, writing that she uses a “steady stream” of Biore pore strips ($8) on her nose and chin (celebs, they’re just like the rest of us!). She also uses the Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peel Pads ($88) on and around her nose, as they work to unclog pores and boost natural call turnover for smoother skin, and the Epione Restoration Serum ($145) by Dr. Simon Ourian when she is “feeling icks” (it's known for its firming and brightening properties).
Of course, her skincare regimen wouldn’t be complete without a dose of luxury. Teigen is also a fan of La Mer, writing in her Instagram post: “$$, I know I know but I gotta be honest.” We can certainly appreciate her honesty. Her go-to products from the brand, she said, are the Crème de la Mer Moisturizing Cream ($335), which she has even used on her stomach to treat stretch marks, and The Concentrate (starting at $190).
“Mix that with anything anyone at @drjasondiamond’s office tells me to do facial wise… and there you have it. A very simple (no) routine,” she finished her post. It's a lot, yes, and we might not use the word “simple” to describe Teigen's star-worthy skincare routine. But nevertheless, we appreciate her sharing it with the world, and we'll will be trying to get our hands (and faces!) on as many of these products as we can.
