Demi Lovato Announces Engagement To Max Ehrich

Congrats are in order for Demi Lovato! The singer is engaged to former Young and the Restless actor Max Ehrich, who popped the question on Wednesday.

Sharing similar images on Instagram, both Lovato and Ehrich announced their engagement with super-sweet posts. The actor got down on his knee in a beautiful beachside proposal in Malibu, CA, explaining that he could not wait any longer to ask Lovato to marry him. “You are every love song, every film, every lyric, every poem, everything I could ever dream of and then some in a partner in life,” he wrote.

Enrich proposed with an enormous, emerald-cut diamond ring designed by jeweler Peter Marco. Page Six reports it's somewhere between 5 and 7-carats and worth around $300,000. NBD.

When I was a little girl, my birth dad always called me his “little partner” – something that might’ve sounded strange without his southern cowboy like accent. To me it made perfect sense. And today that word makes perfect sense again but today I’m officially going to be someone else’s partner. @maxehrich – I knew I loved you the moment I met you. It was something I can’t describe to anyone who hasn’t experienced it firsthand but luckily you did too.. I’ve never felt so unconditionally loved by someone in my life (other than my parents) flaws and all. You never pressure me to be anything other than myself. And you make me want to be the best version of myself. I’m honored to accept your hand in marriage. I love you more than a caption could express but I’m ecstatic to start a family and life with you. I love you forever my baby. My partner. Here’s to our future!!!! ❤️ Ps. THANK YOU @angelokritikos FOR HIDING BEHIND ROCKS AND CAPTURING THE ENTIRE THING!!! I love you boo!!!

After saying “Yes,” Lovato could not contain her excitement, writing on IG: “I knew I loved you the moment I met you. I’ve never felt so unconditionally loved by someone in my life (other than my parents) flaws and all. You never pressure me to be anything other than myself. She finished her post by saying, “I’m honored to accept your hand in marriage. I love you more than a caption could express but I’m ecstatic to start a family and life with you. I love you forever my baby. My partner. Here’s to our future!!!!”

The exciting news comes just four months after the pair started dating, reports People. Lovato and Ehrich accidentally let their relationship slip on social media in March, but later confirmed they were dating by appearing as one of the celebrity couples in the music video for Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande's song “Stuck with U.”

They have also been living together, quarantining during the coronavirus pandemic, and apparently falling madly in love. “When u realize u should’ve packed more for your quarantine stay,” Ehrich joked alongside a shirtless photo in Lovato's home on March 23. Sources close to the couple say they have grown inseparable while social distancing.

After everything she has been through, from public breakups to a bipolar diagnosis to drug relapses, we are glad to see Lovato happy and supported in love. Congrats to her and Ehrich!
