Surprise! Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have secretly welcomed their second child.
According to the DailyMail, the actress gave birth to a baby boy last week, and the family has since spending time with the newborn at their home in Montana, where they have been quarantining during the coronavirus pandemic. “We thought the best way to do our part was … we have a place in Montana, and so we came up here. We feel very lucky and blessed that we’re in a place where they’re pretty socially distant here anyway,” Timberlake told Sirus XM Hits 1.
The couple also has a five-year-old son, Silas, who was born in April 2015. It's been reported that Biel's mother, Kimberly, has been staying with the family since the new baby's birth, helping to care for her grandchildren.
Both Biel and Timberlake have always kept relatively low profiles, and their family life, for the most part, has been kept out of the public eye. So, it comes as no surprise they were able to pull off a secret pregnancy, especially during a pandemic when everyone is holed up at home.
The couple has been out of the paparazzi's reach in their Montana ranch, where they've reportedly been “working on their marriage” after photos of Timberlake holding hands with a costar went public in December. Here, they've celebrated many occasions, including Silas's 5th birthday, Biel's 38th birthday, Mother's and Father's Day—all without dropping a hint on social media.
Instead, it appears Biel was able to hide her pregnancy on Instagram, posting throwback photos and selfies from the chest up. Her and Timberlake have not been photographed publicly since March.
But the stars have always spoke about wanting more children. “I want to have as many kids as we can, if I’m being honest,” Timberlake said in 2018 while speaking with Zane Lowe for Beats 1. And fans first began speculating that baby number two was on the way before the 2018 Super Bowl. These rumors, of course, turned out to be just that—rumors.
However, there seems to be truth to the reports this time around, even though Biel and Timberlake have yet to comment on the news of their second child. So big congrats to the parents, both for keeping this pregnancy top-secret and on the birth of their second son!
