Aging is a personal process, and there is no shame in going under the knife. But as the conversation about beauty ideals continues to change, more and more women seem to be accepting the natural signs of growing older — even celebrities. On Sunday, Pink took to Twitter to open up about entering a new decade and her decision to embrace the beauty of aging.
“Dear Me, you're getting older. I see lines. Especially when you smile. Your nose is getting bigger.. You look (and feel) weird as you get used to this new reality,” the 40-year-old pop star wrote in a “letter to self.”
She continued: “But your nose looks like your kids, and your face wrinkles where you laugh. And yeah you idiot..u smoked.” Pink went onto explain how she has considered plastic surgery in the past but has never gone through with it.

“Every once in a while you consider altering your face, and then you watch a show where you want to see what the person is feeling… and their face doesn't move,” she continued in another Tweet. “[I] cannot get behind it. I just can't.”
Her decision not to alter her appearance, she explained, has a lot to do with her kids, Willow, 8, and Jameson, 3, whom she shares with husband Carey Hart. “I want my children to know what I look like we I'm angry,” she wrote. What's more, she wants them to know that there are more important personal qualities than looks.
“I’m fortunate because I’ve never really depended on my looks. I’ve decided that my talent and my individuality is far more important than my face.” The Grammy winner is known for her signature punk-rock style. She has challenged stereotypes from the start of her music career, which spans over two decades and is highly successful.

Pink concluded her post about plastic surgery: “So get on board cause I am about to AGE THE OL FASHIONED WAY (in a tutu ruling shit at 30 mph 100 ft in the air over 40) yasssssssss.”
Her series of Tweets has over 132,000 'likes' and countless comments of support. “I feel you …. except for, you know, the flying through the air thing,” fellow singer Kelly Clarkson joked.
Her husband also weighed in, writing: “Good work baby, let's get wrinkly together.” Swoon.
