About Duane Beckett

I’m Duane Beckett, a father, grandfather, and someone on a journey into healthy living after facing both physical and mental health challenges. Diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure after a health scare, I had to overhaul my lifestyle, embracing changes in diet and exercise. However, my battles with mental health go back decades. With a family history of dementia and personal battles with anxiety, I’ve learned how deeply connected our mental and physical health truly is. My journey also includes navigating the effects of childhood trauma, supporting loved ones through OCD and suicidal thoughts, and finding strength in dealing with those challenges. My story isn’t about perfection; it’s about persistence, growth, and hope. If you’re looking for honest, lived-in insights, I’m here to share what’s helping me.
