From the performances to the fashion, black magic was on full display at the 2021 BET Awards. This year’s ceremony, which took place on Sunday, June 27 in Los Angeles, was declared the “Year of the Black Woman” to celebrate their immense impact on the culture, and it honored an extraordinary lineup of musicians, actors, and cultural icons. And with a return to live awards shows, the nominees, performers, and presenters showed up for the red carpet dressed to impress.

Zendaya paid tribute to Beyoncé, wearing the same Versace dress Bey wore to her first BET Awards in 2003. Queen Latifah looked like a boss in a skirt suit as she was honored with this year’s Lifetime Achievement BET Award. Lil Nas X not only delivered fantastic outfits, per usual, but also an equally fantastic performance that celebrated queer culture. And Cardi B showed up with a baby bump, surprising fans by announcing her second pregnancy with Offset.

Below, we’ve rounded up the best dressed celebrities from the 2021 BET Awards red carpet. From sparkly jumpsuits to sexy cutouts and nearly-nude gowns, scroll through our favorite looks below.
