Influencer Alix Earle is trading the ballroom for the gym with a new TikTok.

The star brought fans along for her recent workout, talking about tips she’s learned along the way, and how she pushes her body to stay fit.

The March 9th TikTok gave her 8.3 million followers a glimpse into her newest routine, and we’re tired just from watching her.

First Part of Workout

Friend Alyssa Caparelli joined the Dancing with the Stars runner-up. The pair arrived at the gym in coordinated workout outfits and a can-do attitude.

Earle started the video by stating she planned to “follow [Caparelli’s] lead” for the workout, as she is “a little bit better at this stuff.”

They took some time stretching out their muscles before diving into the intense workout.

Earle and Caparelli started with synchronized squats for one minute, repeating the set twice. They increased the workout by each holding a 35 lb. weight. Then they focused on arms, using 15 lb. weights in a variety of one-minute sets repeated twice.

After the lifts, they engaged their core muscles with some heel touches.

Earle added in a voiceover of the clip, stating, “Usually, I go to a Pilates class, or I have, like, the same routine I always do in the gym. So this was good for me to, like, follow along and do something else—though I was struggling a little bit.”

Importance of Breathing

While the first part may have been kicking her butt a little bit, Alix Earle pushed through and moved to more arm exercises, this time with 7.5 lb. weights and various movements.

After that were some split squats, and various planks and core-tightening movements.

Then, Earle brought up a key strategy she’s learned in the gym that helps her core engagement.

“Also, something I learned recently is ‘breathing.’ Sounds simple, but I used to never really breathe when I was working out,” she claimed. “Exhaling and really squeezing your core is really, really helpful,” she added.

Alix Earle and Alyssa Caparelli worked out for around 40 minutes, finishing off the workout with a minute of bicycle crunches.

Earle isn’t the only one who got something out of the workout.

Many of the creator’s fans enjoyed her TikTok workout for various reasons, including the useful exercise tips, the relatability Earle showed during the video, and the workout’s intensity.

Several positive fans flew to the comment section, praising the star and sharing their own experiences.

One fan joked, “Alix Earle said she started working out so I started working out.” It earned a like from Earle.

Another added, “Ugh I love how real you are Alix these r so helpful.”

Yet another shared their own story, writing, “I used to hold my breath when I was lifting too. Like why is breathing and lifting or engaging your core so hard 😂.”

Celebrities & Workouts

Alix Earle’s workout post is a positive glimpse into celebrities and their workout routines. While many post their workout routines or hacks to get their bodies, not all of the fanfare surrounding the posts is positive.

Many get called out for having good genes, completing light workouts that don’t compare to their body, or having more access to tools that keep them in shape.

However, Alix Earle is showing us that she puts in the work to keep her body in top form and admits her struggles, too.
